I used a 30 lbs. dumbbell for the first 3 rounds, but for the last 2 rounds I switched to a 25 lbs. weight. I was able to complete all rounds within the time frame, but my arms sure tightened up while going through each round. Although I didn't receive a penalty, the workout was fast so I ran 1000m for "fun".

Your goal is to have the final set of 3 power cleans be as heavy as you can perform correctly.
Then 4 attempts of: deadlift
Don't mess around with building up slowly on these 4 singles.
Your posterior chain will already be very warmed up by the power cleans.
Your final deadlift attempt should be for a new max.
I worked on both of these techniques for a good 30 - 40 minutes. By the end, I reached 90 lbs. Power Clean and 135 lbs. Deadlift. Unfortunately those were my PR's from before. I know that I need to work on my hip motion on the Power Clean so that I can gain more power.

“The Bear Complex”
5 Rounds of 7 sets of:
1 Power Clean
1 Front Squat1 Push Press
1 Back Squat
1 Push Press
Each combination of the five movements is considered one repetition. You will complete 7 repetitions per round. Increase weight for each of the five rounds. This is not a timed workout, the objective is maximum weight. Rest as needed between rounds, but the barbell cannot be released during the seven repetitions within the round.
Today I didn't feel like pushing myself too hard, not that I could have much harder...
Round 1: 45 lbs.
Round 2: 50 lbs.
Round 3: 52.5 lbs.
Round 4: 55 lbs.
Round 5: 60 lbs.
Now looking at things, I wish I would have increased by 5 lbs. each round. Oh well...there's always tomorrow.

Round 2: In 5 minutes, I was able to compete 25 hr push ups, 25 KB Snatch, 25 KB SDHP and 17 burpee box jumps for a total of 92.
Round 3 Time: 12:34 (Oh and that would be 450 single jump ropes!!! The only thing that saved me today was I was able to get close to 100 jumps consecutively for 2 separate rounds. My arms are still jello!!)
**(I used 25 pounds for the KB snatch and 35 pounds for the (Sumo Deadlift High Pulls) SDHP.
