This WOD came after a 3.88 mile morning walk. The time of this WOD also reflects a quick run to the bathroom! Haha. I couldn’t keep it together after drinking a protein shake following my walk.

Here we are again...
I have noticed that if I don’t work out in the morning, I don’t generally work out that day. I have tried to make more of a conscious decision about the food going into my body, although that isn’t always perfect either. Fortunately or unfortunately, I go back to work in about 2 1/2 weeks, which means my body will get on a schedule and into a better (eating) routine. Until then, I will continue to do what I can when I can do it.

It’s crazy how long it takes a person to get into shape, and yet how fast a person can get out of shape!! This may be a slow process, but it’s a process I’m willing to go through nonetheless.

I’m back!!! I’ve found my new happy place.  It happens to be something I was able to set up at home, which makes it even better! I found this dumbbell set with rack over the weekend for only $75! What a steal! So here’s my set up within my garage. 


My purchase came with the rack, (2) 15lb, (2) 20 lbs, (2) 25 lbs, and (1) 30lb. 
I already had a 12 lb dumbbell and 10lb medicine ball, which I also added on the rack. It’s exciting to feel motivated again, although starting over SUCKS! My intensity hasn’t been what it once was. I’ve continued exercising, if you count walking with friends. Let’s be real...it’s been more for visiting than intense exercising, but at least I have stayed moving. 

Here was today’s workout. 
Earlier today, I walked in the morning with friends for 3.97 miles and on my treadmill (4.28 miles) so that I could catch up on The Bachelorette.
My problem lately hasn’t only been lack of intensity, but in also the JUNK I’ve been eating! I want to feel motivated and back to where I once was! It can and WILL happen!!
